** Moral Points **

- Note that I didn't get ALL of the moral points in this level, mainly due to sacrifices for time and efficiency. You do NOT have to get all moral points here in this level, gathering about 5 is more than enough. Also, going for the stealth approach will leave you out for the metal locker and the communists, while leaving the stealth achievement would gain you one extra moral point, but is not really important.
** Current level information **

Front Line is the first level in the whole Metro 2033 that will either test your bloodlust, or your restraint. This level is reputated for being one of the hardest levels (though not the hardest in my opinion), mainly due to the overload of enemies and darkness making them difficult to see.
The level is also known to have 2 achievements that are simultaneously IMPOSSIBLE to achieve, it's either one or the other (Completely Stealty, or sacrificing a few Nazi's for saving Communist prisoners).
I would like to start by pointing out that the level is long, and tiring if you are not known to the stealty route, which is if known far easier than bulking your way throught bullets and gunfire. Using the stealth armor is highly advised on almost all difficulties, as well as a stealty approach and saving lots of effort and bullets! If you go for saving the communists, you will have to be fast and kill the Nazi executioner before he kills the prisoners (or alert yourself in presence, and he won't kill them as well). If you go for the complete stealth, don't kill anyone!
Make your choice, and do another round for the other achievement if you would want both.
** Alternative Ending tips **

Some things are vital to know before starting the alternative walkthrought:
- It is dead important to research where and when moral points can be accumulated. By far the best location to go for a guide is here: http://metrovideogame.wikia.com/wiki/Moral_Points
Moral points are the triggers across the entire game that will decide wheter you can unlock the alternative ending (Enlightened achievement) or not and represent the right decisions in the game. You must collect a high amount of moral points before it unlocks, and some moral points CANNOT be missed regardless of the amount you have collected (examples are the MP from Khan in "Driving to Sparta" level and choosing the Dark One twice in 2 visions)!
- Contrary to believe, you CAN loot ALL dead bodies found in the Metro channels or the surface. Some guides tell you that looting is incorrect for the enlightened achievement but it has been confirmed many times that this is wrong. So, loot as much as you can!
- Some achievements are helpful in conjunction with the alternative ending. Examples are "Merciful", "Invisible" and "Generous".
- You'll know when you can trigger the alternative ending at the end: When Khan repeats his message from the Sparta base at the very end of the game (just before the launch of the missiles) it means that you can shoot the missile locator off the tower. This will unlock the 'Enlightened' achievement.
