I got completely stuck and couldn't finish the game. Looks like I had to search everything before coming up to this point of the space station because there was no way up for me. Not even the bomb jump trick helped out as for some reason I cannot get that method to properly work for me on Metroid II.

I absolutely love the game! Sad to say I missed some items that were beneficial for my success so I'll come back later to this ROM hack.
