We have arrived at Kraid's Hideout, so let's begin the hunt. To begin this episode, we have to contend with menacing flies that respawn infinitely and sidehoppers that just take lots of shots to kill. Luckily for us, three missile packs and an energy tank are available for us to use as we desire. That desire is to kill Kraid. He's no joke as he can launch thorns at you from his gut and fling more thorns in an arc. Worse yet, when he readies thorns for a shot, they can block your beams AND missiles. This is a good fight to use your bombs. Once we dispose of Kraid, we backtrack to Brinstar and re-equip the Ice Beam as we're gonna need it in the final area.
