β INFORMATION ABOUT THIS SPECIFIC EPISODE:
Confusion ensues in today's Other M episode, as for a while we don't really figure out how we should proceed - that is, until we find a switch that we just blatantly ignored before. My bad lol. In other news, we got a new beam upgrade authorized by Adam after we were trapped by space pirates with no way to get out. Notice how Adam only ever helps us when we're in a terrible situation? Makes ya think.
β INFORMATION ABOUT "METROID: OTHER M":
The Metroid franchise has long been one of Nintendo's most beloved series, known for its mix of exploration, atmosphere and intense boss battles. Ever since the original Metroid on the NES, the series has pushed the boundaries of game design with its nonlinear world structure, empowering players to uncover upgrades and piece together the story through their own discoveries. With Samus Aran as one of gaming's earliest and most iconic female protagonists, Metroid has held a special place in the history of video games.
Metroid: Other M was released in 2010 for the Nintendo Wii, developed through a collaboration between Nintendo, Team Ninja and D-Rockets. The game experimented with a hybrid gameplay style, blending third-person exploration with first-person aiming, while also focusing heavily on cinematic storytelling. While the game divided fans with its portrayal of Samus and narrative choices, it remains a unique entry in the series: ambitious, experimental, and distinct from both the traditional 2D and Prime-style 3D games.
In this blind Let's Play of Metroid: Other M, I'll be experiencing the game for the very first time. From navigating its atmospheric environments and facing deadly alien threats to uncovering how this story expands Samus's journey, everything will be a fresh adventure. Expect moments of awe, confusion and plenty of surprises as we dive into one of the most controversial, yet fascinating, chapters in the Metroid saga!
