First, please forgive the small cut around the middle of the video. I was interrupted and had to pause the game for a few minutes.

Here we have it. This is the true final battle against the Phazon corruption.
Now it is time that we fight Aurora Unit 313. Stolen from the G.F.S Valhalla by the Space Pirates, 313 has been fully integrated into the very core of planet Phaaze itself. It is through here that Dark Samus was able to control the Leviathans.
Now, we are not only fighting 313 and Dark Samus, but the very planet itself.

313 is a battle familiar to the Mother Brain fight from Super Metroid. Its battle theme is in fact a remix of Mother Brain's.
313's fight consists of two major phases. I decided to include both parts of the fight rather than splitting it up.
The first fight has 313 still connected to the planet through a spinal cord-like body. Its moves and attacks in a very predictable pattern. Most of the fight will have it extending two tentacles. If you wait too long these tentacles will fire Phazon blasts that are hard to avoid. You must fire at the tips of these tentacles to force them into retracting. You must then fire into the ports while they are glowing yellow. Do this enough and 313 will be stunned, allowing you to grapple off its plating and attack its core. When shooting its tentacles, you will notice a small machine popping in and out occasionally. Shoot this and 313 will enter a different stunned state that allows you to easily shoot its ports.
Its other attacks include releasing weak echoes that attack you. They disappear after a time and you cant attack 313 until they are gone. They will always appear three at a time. They have low health and can be destroyed in one Hyper Missle each. 313 will also retract into the ground and start firing balls of red energy at you. These projectiles have high damage, but can be shot down. Its most dangerous attack though is its laser attack. The laser sweeps forward and back and follows Samus. The attack does extremely high damage, as shown in the video, i nearly died from it. Make sure you avoid this attack at all costs.
After enough damage has been done to the core, the head detaches from the body and the next phase begins.
The head flies around and 313's attacks completely change now that it is airborne.
If you have played through Prime 2, then this fight is strikingly similar to fighting the head of Quadraxis.
This fight revolves around stunning 313 so that you may circle around and attack its weak point. Its attack variety is limited, but all of its attacks do high damage. One attack reveals a shockwave generator. If you attack and do enough damage to this generator, you will stun 313. Another attack has 313 fire balls of energy at you. After it finishes its volley, which can come in series of 1-4 shots in a row, 313 will enter a stunned state. Another attack it likes to use has it fire four red beam of energy while it spins in a circle. This attack will allow you to attack its weak point, but the beams are highly damaging and hard to avoid. I find that the best option is to go into Morph Ball mode and stay under 313 until the attack is over. However, do not stay under 313 because every time it finishes its laser attack it will drop to the ground and spin along the floor. This attack is fast and hard to avoid at times. A little known tactic is that if you can screw attack into 313 while it is spinning on the ground, you will stop its attack AND send it into a stunned state. Thankfully i was able to show this tactic off in the video.
Focus your attacks on the core and avoid damage as much as possible and you will destroy 313.
Dark Samus emerges from the destroyed form of 313 and destabilizes. She explodes into dust and the corruption in Samus's body disappears without a trace. It seems we have finally ended the terror of Dark Samus and stopped the corruption.
Mission Complete.
