Just had to get this out there, for anyone intimidated by Metroid Prime speedrunning. You don't really have to do advanced tricks to get a good time. Beating it in less than 3 hours is a nice fulfilling goal. This run has no early space, no out of bounds, just minor skips to get artifacts with simple platforming. This is not even close to being optimised yet, I can still save 10-15 minutes at least on this route. I just wanted to post something to show people that speedrunning this game does not have to be torture. It's a fun game to play and you don't need 20 years of knowledge to speedrun it. Just pick it up and go your own way.
