4After a pretty long wait, I think we are ready to start with the next Metroid Let's Play! Metroid Prime is my next choice to continue with this awesome series and I will be playing its most recent release on the Nintendo Switch to cover this classical game. We are now entering the world of 3D in this sub-series of Metroid, but everything we know and love from the 2D side-scroller we will also find in a game like this. Samus Aran is back and she is better than ever!
Metroid Prime Remastered is the 2023 remastered version of the original GameCube game that introduced the Metroid series into the world of 3D gaming for the first time. With the first person perspective this game makes use of it really feels like we are Samus Aran herself this time around, making the action more amazing than ever. In a story that takes place in between the events of the first two Metroid games. Samus must travel through the world of Tallon IV searching for twelve Chozo Artifacts that will open the path to the Phazon meteor impact crater, while collecting power-ups that let her reach new areas. In the meantime she must also battle her way through the notorious Space Pirates who are also after this Phazon in order to weaponize it, and this bunch includes Samus' arch-nemesis Ridley! Can she overcome the harsh challenges this world and all of the foes on it to save Tallon IV from a dire fate?
