With the aid of the newly obtained Thermal Visor we enter the Quarantine zone and fight the second major boss of the game, Thardus, a Phazon charged pile of rocks. You have to use the Thermal Visor to find which of Thardus's rocks are vulnerable and hit it until the visor is overloaded, then swap back to the Combat Visor to be able to see again and destroy the exposed rock. Rinse and Repeat until the fight is done and be rewarded with the Spider Ball. Now our Morph Ball Form can cling to tracks to defy gravity and climb walls.
