46A nightmare of epic proportions: containers of Phazon shatter and Dark Samus reforms, moving menacingy towards Samus. With a startle, the cryosleep shuts down and Samus activates her Varia Suit. A call was made to a group of bounty hunters to meet with the Galactic Federation. In orbit over Norion and amongst a fleet of starships, Samus docks with the G.F.S. Olympus, where she meets three other bounty hunters, Admiral Dane, and Aurora Unit 242. In a briefing, the bounty hunters find out what the call is for: Space Pirate activity has increased, the Pirates have stolen an Aurora Unit and infected the system, and the mission of restoring the system by vaccinating the Units. Suddenly, an attack occurs on the fleet!
