Metroid Prime (Trilogy) Playthrough Part 1
Seeing that I can easily record the Prime series through my HD PVR 2 now, I decided to go through with recording it in a full 60 FPS and high definition recording now. Of course, I'll use the digital version of Trilogy since that is much easier to access, and has much better load times.
From what has been discovered so far, there are no differences between the disc version and the digital version other than the one noted above.
I grabbed a save file off GameFAQs so I could easily access Hypermode difficulty, as I was definitely not going to erase my current progress on my Wii. Nonetheless, I start Metroid Prime, and get through a good chunk of the game here. I'll put timestamps of the notable events too.
In case you have never played the Wii Version of the game before, you'll see some noticable differences. With the Wii Remote + Nunchuck controls, you can not aim anywhere. This makes enemies and bosses easier, especially since you can now hide behind a wall and aim your arm cannon far to the left while locked on. The only boss this new scheme makes harder is the Hive Mecha. That is due to how you can't turn around in place quickly anymore.
This version also cuts a majority of sequence breaks from the original Metroid Prime, so I'll have to speed through the normal route.
