The remaining Metroids are roaming around like desperate creatures, trying to suck the life force out of Samus. But nope, she gets rid of them all before confronting the Queen Metroid. She was hard to fight, as I had no idea I could just use my spider tracks as a way to avoid one of her attacks. But at least she's dealt with now.
Finally, Samus goes off to exterminate the last Metroid, but of course, she doesn't because the baby reminds Samus of her past self. The two leave SR388, during which a bad storm is brewing up. But not before Ridley comes out of nowhere and tries to snatch the baby. Samus once against shows the space dragon who means business before heading off to a nearby station to keep the Metroid away from any danger.
