In this episode of Metroid 3, Super Metroid we head into Tourian and find something we haven't seen for the whole game.. Metroids. Real ones! After fighting our way passed a few and some familiar ring shooting nodes, we are confronted with the biggest Larval Metroid we've ever seen! It recognizes us too. Its the baby Metroid we saved in Metroid 2 overgrown from gamma radiation. After the Baby Metroid bails, leaving us with 1HP (Some reunion!) we push deeper into Tourian to find the Queen of the Space Pirates herself, Mother Brain.. who is quick to show us her new form and hand us our butt. When all seems lost, the Baby Metroid comes to our rescue but at grave cost..
