METROID's Return of Bowser Brain (Super Mario Maker 2)
0Taumi has recreated the iconic Mother Brain final boss fight from Metroid (1986) and Super Metroid (1994) with greater accuracy than was possible in the original Super Mario Maker, thanks to On/Off Switches and slopes. The difficulty balance here is very precise: Making it through the corridors leading up to "Bowser Brain" may look relatively easy, but Mario only has two hits; while Mario is allowed an infinitely respawning fireflower to compensate for Bowser's fire spam near the end, there is also far more "acid" for Mario to fall into. This level also demonstrates how useful red pipes are for keeping the action going in a boss battle as well as the benefits of putting Big Bowser on tracks, which couldn't be done in the original Super Mario Maker.
