The Mets have fired their recently hired GM, Jared Porter, after an ESPN report showed that he sent lewd messages to a female journalist. The report by Jeff Pass & Mina Kimes stated that the Mets general manager sent 62 messages in a row to a woman working in baseball, eventually sending lewd images.
