1Sconed Magmakitty. I claimed this thing will be the hardest Special Investigation because I knew it will chip damage me to death very easily. While this is still true, it wasn't as bad as I thought. Easier than Risen Shaggy, which makes sense. I still think Scorned Magnamalo is more dangerous to a Guard build though. As was the habit with these Afflicted end game monsters, they deal a lot more chip damage than Risens. Amusingly. Heck, Chaotic Gore had probably the most likely to instantly kill you from guard attack. But Scorned Magna can deliver these hits more often.
For some reason, the Special Version never reached the scary spicy red mode. I think it got somehow confused with the whole Afflicted system. This turned my final fight of Rise into something... a little less epic. But it is now done. I have defeated every monster and all the normal quests, and also all the Special Investigations.
I did not finish the Follower Collab Quests lol. To be fair, this was mostly because they were "wasting my time" trying to reach all the Specials. There are also a lot of achievements I didn't finish, both ingame and Steam. I will put MH completely on hold until I'm satisfied with Dragon's Dogma2 haha.
