1) To answer the question "how do they deal so much damage"
We are using Felyne Heroics which procs if you are at below 10 HP and increases attack by 35%. Plus our build, Safi weapon and item usage is optimized.

2) To answer the question "how are they not dying"
If you don't drink a Cold Drink, heat in MHW will constantly decrease your HP until it finally reaches zero. However it doesn't trigger the kill. So as long as you remain untouched you won't die from heat itself. In the old MH games this was different. There heat could kill you. However with MHW that changed. Maybe another QoL improvement. But is it really?
