And we reach the end. This game is really fun and unique, and I won't forget it for a while. I just loved the sense of adventure and exploration as I slowly cleared up the map more and more while searching for the plants to heal myself. The "upgrades" were also satisfying as it turned me from a slow and frail little guy into a sprinting Olympian.
The cat was also fun to deal with as there's a big mystery of its mechanics, something that most horror games don't really explore very well as they always choose very clear boundaries and mechanics. Having the environment be so open also helped make the running away part more "fun," especially as the monster only really chased after you turned your back to it. Made for very tense encounters.
The only thing that's lacking is the story. They just threw about pieces of story everywhere and told you to collect and build something, which I don't find very satisfying. At least I believe the interpretation was clear and not left purposely ambiguous like many indies do.
