The Micca Speck 4K is the most boring Android based media player/TV box that I could find, and it's pretty great.
Here I do an unboxing, firmware update, quick look at the setup options, and run through some demo clips. There are a few quirks and little flaws, but nothing major. Overall, the Speck does what I need it to - playing a variety of MP4 and MKV files with an assortment of codecs from SD cards and USB hard disks.
