Can I repair a damaged, unreadable PlayStation (PSX) disc enough to make an ISO with ImgBurn?
Here I take a look at repairing a CD with Meguiar's Ultimate Compound and clear nail polish

Note: I didn't get into this in the video, because I don't have the supplies, but the silver layer can be repaired in pressed discs as well. If the silver layer is damaged, take a piece of EDIBLE GOLD LEAF SHEET (the goofy stuff used for fancypants food), cut a small portion larger than the scratch, blow on it to give it a tiny bit of humidity to stick, and place the gold leaf over the damaged area and press down with a q-tip. Then take a dab of clear acrylic nail polish to get it to stick. You'll probably only get one shot to get it right.
