Michael Sheen blasts Prince Williams' behaviour
Prior to their departure for the World Cup in Qatar, England and Wales are set to face off, and Welsh actor Michael Sheen calls Prince William's visit to the England camp "entirely inappropriate"
Prince William, who succeeded his father Charles as King in September following the death of Queen Elizabeth, paid a visit to the England players on Monday at their St. George's Park training facility and gave them their tournament squad numbers.
In a video sent to the England Twitter account, FA President William was seen shaking hands with manager Gareth Southgate and requesting that he give the players their shirts.
Michael Sheen, a prominent actor in both theatre and film, quoted and tweeted the England video "He can, of course, support whoever he likes and as President of FA his role makes visit understandable - but surely he sees holding the title Prince of Wales at same time is entirely inappropriate? Not a shred of embarrassment? Or sensitivity to the problem here?"
