Microchess 1.5 (TRS-80, 1978) - Let's Play! VIDEO
Microchess was created by Peter R. Jennings, originally created for the KIM-1 hobbyist computer. Jennings created Personal Software to market the game. In 1978, version 1.5 was ported to the TRS-80. It takes up only 4K of RAM. It was the first commercially successful chess program for microcomputers.
