Microsoft Adventure (https://www.mobygames.com/game/microsoft-adventure) was a text adventure game published by Microsoft in 1979 for the Apple ][.
Based on the original, 350 points version of Colossal Cave Adventure created by Will Crowther and Don Woods for the DEC PDP-10, the Microsoft version was written in assembly language by Gordon Letwin and you can read more about the story here: https://www.filfre.net/2011/07/microsoft-adventure/
