Microsoft has announced that it’s acquiring ZeniMax Media – the parent company of Bethesda Softworks. According to Microsoft, it paid $7.5 billion for the acquisition. The agreement sees Xbox taking on all of Bethesda Game Studios' affiliated developers including id Software, Tango Gameworks, MachineGames, Arkane, and others.
