Microsoft Comments on Potential Call of Duty Xbox Exclusivity
188-Bit Eric ( 8BE ) In the past, Microsoft has defended its pending purchase of Activision and has insisted that it won't make the Call of Duty franchise an Xbox/PC exclusive once it goes through. Now the company has finally given a more tangible reason as to why it won't do this. In a document sent to Brazil’s Administrative Council for Economic Defense, Microsoft reiterated that it had no intention to do this. The main reason that was cited was that it simply wouldn't be profitable to do so:
