Microsoft Encarta 97 Demo (Windows 95 OSR 2)
0Well since I still haven't made room for my old Windows 95 computer - and since I couldn't get some of my old computer games to run on my laptop - I've finally decided to give VMWare a try. And with this, I'm able to go back and watch the demos from the version of Microsoft Interactive CD Sampler featured on the disc for Windows 95 OSR 2 (or Windows 95 B, if you prefer). With sound!
I love going through these old demos. They give me some interesting insight on what people did with their computers back in the late 90's; during the "dot-com craze", the multimedia boom from that decade, and in this case how students did their school projects before Wikipedia existed.
There are a couple of uploads for this demo from the separate Microsoft Interactive CD Sampler with slight differences, but this version from the Windows 95 OSR 2 CD itself hasn't been on YouTube for a while (I remember seeing it here earlier in the decade when I was still in high school, but couldn't find it since). So here it is again for your nostalgic viewing pleasure. I hope you enjoy!
