Damn, look at those graphics! Those were absolutely mind-boggling for the time! This is Virtua Racing, the first and only Genesis title to utilize the Sega Virtua Processor (SVP) chip, Sega's answer to the SuperFX chip used in SNES games such as Star Fox. It helped to recreate the 3D polygon graphics of the arcade classic without overwhelming the system, but on the downside it meant the game cost $100 in its heyday. Thankfully, I was able to snag a copy at a used game store for eight bucks. It's both technically-impressive AND a fun game in its own right. I hope you enjoy!
