501The much anticipated Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 is out NOW for PC and needless to say it's caused a bit of stir.

It uses topographical data from Bing Maps combined with Microsoft Azure AI technology to bring you astonishingly realistic 3D representations of the world with amazing detail to really immerse you in the flight.
Not only can you choose to fly over some of the world's most iconic landmarks, You can also create your own flight plan and fly anywhere on the planet even choosing to fly over your own house.
For even more realism you can use real time weather conditions, including accurate wind speed and direction, temperature, humidity, rain, and lighting, fly day or night and even integrate your flight into real world flights.
Flight Sim 2020 allows you to test your pilot skills in a variety of aircraft from light planes to commercial jets and it's super easy to get started even for those who've never flown a sim before.
No detail has been overlooked and even the audio is super realistic making you feel like you are really flying a plane
The level of detail the geographical data takes up is a whopping two petabytes (or two thousand terabytes) but of course you don't need to install all of this on your hard drive. Microsoft Azure artificial intelligence will stream files from the cloud, retrieve what's needed in real time, and delete things that are no longer used. This AI will also be responsible for converting data into 3D locations for better object recognition and higher levels of detail. Its worth noting that as the data is streamed your internet speed will affect the quality, with 50 megabit or above being recommended.
