I'm doing an OnAir mission carrying 3 passengers from Manston, UK (EGMH) to Lille, France (LFQQ). Weather started off ok, albeit windy, and got progressively worse.
I did fumble around a few times and those distractions caused 3 separate stall warnings and a 'G-Force exceed' warning which cost me reputation with OnAir. :(
I do realise that on some systems, if certain behaviours are met, the autopilot will disengage itself, but getting this one to hold altitude was proving hard to impossible on this flight. Couldn't get the elevation trim right either as it always wanted to pitch up. Maybe the two people in the rear were rather large :)
I wanted to descend to 4000ft instead of go up to 7000ft, as requested by ATC, to try and shift the ice but to no avail. I had to cancel IFR because of their insistence on 7000ft.
The video itself isn't the most exciting and dynamic viewing as it's a lot of concentration on instruments, but I did feel if I could get through this flight, I could achieve anything. Hope you enjoy it. It is what it is.
