Shadow of Mordor offers up a new take on the open world exploration and kill mechanics with a clever nemesis system that makes every death a part of the story and another boss to take down.
Shadow of Mordor gets everything just about right with combat that feels meaty yet forgiving enough to make you feel like a badass.
In many ways this game shows how to do combat right getting the balance between success and failure to hang on your skill not glitches or bugs.
The graphic engine does a stunning job of rendering Mordor allbeit in dark greys and browns but what more could we expect? ****
