Midway's Cancelled Open-World Crime Game
276Midway Studios Newcastle were developing a game called Necessary Force back in 2009, which was to be an open-world detective game set in a neo-noir, gritty metropolis ravaged by crime. Sadly the game was cancelled when Midway Newcastle closed their doors that same year due to financial issues.
In this video I've gathered all the available footage there is for the game as well as some screenshots so we can take a look at what could have been a very interesting open-world title. Such a shame this was cancelled as I think it looked very promising!
