In this session we will present the various ways in which enterprise workloads can be on-boarded, at scale, from on-prem or other clouds, onto Google Cloud. In particular will cover both "lift and shift" migration, as well as the recently announced "lift and modernize" solution (aka Anthos Migrate) which automatically migrates and modernizes VM-based workloads from on-prem or other clouds directly onto containers running in GKE. We will walk-through end-to-end journey of migration and modernization, including a demo, and will show how the solution is seamlessly integrated with advanced capabilities including Istio and Stackdriver for enhanced observability.
