Mike Sawyer had a great rookie campaign with his hometown Charlotte Hounds. The 2012 Tewaaraton Finalist out of Loyola scored 14 Goals and tallied 6 Assists in 11 Games Played in 2013.

At the 2013 MLL All-Star Game he broke Paul Rabil's record 111 mph shot shooting a blistering 114 mph!

He went on to score 7 Points with a .462 SPCT in the post season as Charlotte fell just shy of their first MLL Championship.
