This is from the end of the segment I called "Infiltrating the Underground". I went back and spent some more time with Underground Sword enemies until I found a few decent ways to kill them. At first I was working with Remote Mines, but then I found this method which is even easier. It's one of the common kills you'll see me use on regular enemies all the time, but the Sword enemies counter so much I didn't think it would work on them, as most of the others don't. To quickly kill one, simply uppercut them, fire all 6 of your web shots at them while they're in the air (but keep Miles on the ground), then quickly Air Yank them back down. Apparently this kills them before they're able to do their normal "break out of webbing" animation, which they usually do quite quickly.
Since I'm not on New Game+ here, the game requires me to do the Venom Dash tutorial. I turn so that it goes onto one of the regular enemies, to demonstrate that I definitely defeat the Sword enemy itself "clean", and this strategy would work on NG+ No Upgrades, easily.
