The Royal Tournament was the first, oldest and largest military tattoo in the world. From its inception in 1880 the event was held annually right up until 1999 when it was closed down to save money But now, in this age of austerity, it's making an unlikely comeback and promises to be a new show for the 21st century, as Cath Brazier reports.
