MilViz vs. Heatblur fueling CoG change comparison (FSX / DCS)
I didn't try changing the loadouts on the Heatblur F-4E, since at first I didn't even notice the difference between the fully fueled and empty stances of the plane. To me the most interesting part is how apparent is the fuel level difference in the MilViz addon. Not quite sure which case is closer to reality, but over 12,000 lbs of additional mass should be plenty noticeable even visually, in my opinion.
Again, I lean more towards the MilViz implementation. Sadly, this time around it was acting up and didn't want to show the fuel change in real time - not to mention the other bugs... Nonetheless, I believe there is something wrong with CoG calculations in DCS. Next time I'll try proving that with helicopters.
