Its hard to describe, but what this is, it is a way to get a random value, either 1, 2 or 3 in one shot and with one dropper-hopper. When you hit a button or power it by other means, either the first, second or third light will turn on, and they each have the same random chance. The random generator only has a width of 3 and I also show how to manage the output. When you put an ender pearl into a hopper, it counts as 4 items-since it has a stack size of 16, if that can push the comparator up a strength while a regular item cannot, with 19-21 items already in the hopper, you can place any item, an ender pearl, and a non-stackable item in a dropper and whichever one is chosen will determine which of the 3 random outputs is powered. Now you can get a random number between 1 and 3 or 1 and 12 without having to go to 4 or 16 and try again.
I came up with this idea yesterday, and if someone already had it I did not know about it but I have not seen anything.
