Minecraft - Bunkers and Trenches - Example
235A Bunker and trench system based on the construction principles used by the Germans during the 20th century. These systems are extremely interesting from a tactical perspective. They gave great cover to the defenders and greatly exploited the terrain to rain heavy enfilading fire onto any attacker. They also gave a lot of flexible defence which basically means if you were to capture a bunker the defenders could quickly reposition themselves so that you would still be under as much fire as before and that the position you had just taken would not give you much advantage in dealing with the defences.
