The rapier has the lowest DPS in the game even with the best enchantments. thundering adds a 112% dps boost. basically it kills mobs over 2x as fast. gravity and stunning stunlock mobs and keep them in place acting as a great defense. and radiance is great for healing. as a mentioned before, rapiers have the lowest dps in the game. and lighting rod adds insanely high damage. 12 million with lighting focus. and because of gravity all the mobs are trapped in place. with 3 threat banners they can become insanely hard to kill. and because of gravity we suck mobs straight into the lighting rod.
We need souls to power the lighting rod, so the best way to get souls is with a soul hunter cross bow. it shoots 3 arrows and with soul siphon we can gain loads of souls. chain reaction to spread damage and void strike for that multiplier. add a thundering quiver and you have yourself a weapon of mass destruction!
