What you need for the Duplication Glitch:

An Anvil, Workbench, 9 (or more) single items craftable into a block and 1 XP level per duplication.

Steps:

1) Gather 9 or more of any single item that has a "Block" and an "Item" state (ex: iron / iron block, diamond / diamond block, etc)
2) Craft an Anvil and open the interface
3) Rename 1 of the items to something other than the original block name (uses 1 XP per rename)
4) Place the renamed item in the left furthest slot of the hotbar
5) Craft a Workbench and open the interface
6) Hover over the highlighted "Block" option for the item you are trying to duplicate (ex: For Diamonds, you'd hover over the Diamond Block option)
7) Hit the "Craft All" button
8) Turn the Block back into the item format

Now you have duplicated your items. You can Redo steps 2-8 until you have the desired amount of blocks/items you want. The only limiting factor is your xp levels. I recommend keeping your xp level low, as it's easier to gain
