Minecraft S1 e3 The Grand Sewer

It's time to do some preparation for later episodes, and that prep means terraforming. I want a harbour wall for the town, and to raise the land. Raising the land will enable me to build a water tunnel from the ocean through the town and the hill it sits upon, out to the river at the back to give me easy access via boat. That tunnel is going to be a sewer tunnel. What follows is a huge undertaking, made far worse by a terrible mistake.
