My minecraft server running on a Pine64 Single-board-computer with 2GB of memory.

The only changes to the Minecraft configuration was to reduce view-distance from 10 to 6, and that does work much better.

The Pine64 is running an experimental version of Ubuntu Xenial. After that was up and running and updates, I installed Java, then downloaded the minecraft server and started it up ...

I have dedicated 1.5GB (of 2GB) of memory to this Java instance, and have spent some time trying to find the best settings for Java to perform the best considering the limited resources.

And I think it works very well.
