Minecraft UHC Survival - E1 (Highlights) - One Goal: Stay Alive!
6Today I embark on a new journey, survive in hardcore Minecraft without natural regeneration, A.K.A UHC mode. In this first episode, I get a basic hole in the wall safe haven and to some mining.
In this playthrough, I will be in hardcore mode, so if I die the world will be deleted. I have added another challenge though, natural regeneration of health is turned off. This means I will only be able to heal using golden apples, healing potions, and regeneration potions/beacons. Every heart of health matters in this mode, thus I must watch my step.
Throughout my playthrough of this series, I will be streaming a lot of it live to my twitch at https://www.twitch.tv/aaronracer/ , but do not worry if you can't watch it live because I will be making highlight videos a lot like this one. If I do not stream live one week I will still post a highlight video of what I did since the last episode, I will be recording at all times I am in the world so you won't miss anything important.

Why use a pre-generated seed that you have seen?: I wanted to have an interesting spawn so I looked at random seeds in Amidst (only looking at the 100 blocks surrounding spawn). When looking at seeds I did not have any structures turned on in Amidst and did not look elsewhere in the world, I still want that to be a surprise when I explore.
What is UHC mode?: Ultra Hardcore was started by members of the MindCrack SMP server on February 23, 2012. It originally used mods to turn off natural regeneration of health and the main goal was either to defeat the ender dragon or defeat all of the other players in PvP. It is very similar to normal Minecraft Hardcore mode, where players are unable to respawn, expect players could not regain health without the use of potions or golden apples.
