Minecraft - Xbox 360 Split-Screen Demo
Another thing we were able to sample at GDC 2012 was a new build of the Xbox 360 version of Minecraft, located within the always packed out Independent Games Festival booth.
Though Mojang recently released screenshots of the 4 player split-screen version, for some reason only two controllers were brought to GDC and thus we had to settle for that. Even so, you'll see in this demo that the nature of this "same screen mode" is very drop-in drop out.
Giving us our in-context commentary is Microsoft Product Manager, Daniel McConnell. He was part of the two man team that was there, to field all questions and show off the new, more easy to get into crafting feature set.
