Mineswept Off My Feet | Infinity Sweeper (Minesweeper Roguelike - Demo)
91Infinity Sweeper takes the concept of good old Minesweeper (you remember that, right? From the past?) and mixes it with modern roguelike game mechanics to make it all fancy and exciting!
We have the classic grid of tiles, and we need to click those tiles to turn them over, and we want to avoid clicking on bombs (or mines, maybe, although I call them bombs all the way through the video), and that's all very good, but we also begin to earn gold which we can spend on goodies!
We can buy one-use cards to help us reveal a tile or replenish our health, we can buy permanent boosts to give us more money or more time on certain levels, and we can invest in special tiles that can give us more points or gold or other things!
However, there's also a downside, because the game has trap tiles, nasty tiles that make life difficult for us in all sorts of nefarious ways. One stops us playing cards, another counts down and hurts us if we don't reveal safe tiles!
Oh and there are boss levels which have a countdown running on them, which of course I deal with extremely calmly and most definitely don't panic about.
