Today I will be both reviewing and providing commentary on the new indie Mushihimesama inspired shmup, Space Moth Lunar Edition1. For those new to this game, the original version of Space Moth and the extended version, Space Moth DX, have been out for a very long time! What's cool about this new update is that it revamps a lot of elements of the game by adding additional content, graphics, scoring system and theme (night time). This game is a great entry point into the genre of bullet hell because, even though it is fun to play, the difficulty of the game is not too high for new players. The version in this video is the steam release, but you can also get the game on Nintendo Switch and PS4 as I understand! If you are a fan of danmaku, CAVE, Touhou, and other bullet hell it is likely you will enjoy Space Moth as well, despite some of its flaws.
