Square Enix hat mit dem relativ spontanen Release von Neo The World Ends With You für Playstation 4 und Nintendo Switch überrascht. Denn das Action JRPG ist ein Nachfolger zu einem nischigen Japano-Rollenspiel auf Nintendo DS, bei dem selbst Fans bereits Hoffnung auf ein Sequel aufgegeben hatten.

Für mich ein Grund, die Historie der Serie sowie das erste Spiel noch einmal kurz Revue passieren zu lassen.
