What is this, exactly?

Say you are playing a pen-and-paper rpg. You have a sheet containing the basic information for your player character's basic information: name, gender, character stats, inventory and so on. But you'd like your character to be presented with a bit more ooomph. The Vitruvian Character Display fills the same function as the character sheet, but with the added benefit of having a three dimensional figure in the shape of Leonardo Da Vinci's famous Vitruvian Man to visually represent your character.

The Vitruvian Character Display comes with a globular housing that is both decorative and functional. The globe housing comes in two variants - one in which the Vitruvian man can be mounted, but no additional features. And a second variant, which also has five mounting pegs onto which slots can be affixed.

The slots are empty, but you can add weapons or armor models to them to present the character's inventory. Or you can paint fundamental character stats like strength, intelligence, agility et cetera in them. Miniature weapon/armor models are plentiful and can be purchased from any number of tabletop miniature manufacturers. But a suggestion is to get one of the weapon packs published by Sharedog Miniatures. See links at the bottom of this text.

The Vitruvian Character Display can be used to represent player characters of either gender, but is most suitable for a male character. The Vitruvian Man itself is a male model, and the globe housing is adorned with a large Mars symbol - the universal symbol for masculinity - on both the inside and outside.

Finally, the display comes with a base that the globe housing can be mounted onto (to prevent it from just rolling around on your gaming table...). The base is designed in the shape of four knights bearing the globe on their backs, as if they are supporting the world.
