I never really understood how the Homing Plasma works until now. I always thought it just locked on if you shot it close. Nope. What it does is replace the secondary of the other launchers with one you do not have to aim with. Instead of the plasma going where you right clicked, it changes direction to the nearest enemy target, no line of sight needed.
