Gettin' the confidence to try rough covers of some of my faves, so here we go! Song for today is Ace Frehley's Shock Me, straight from '77's Love Gun Album.

This song was inspired by a freak accident on-stage at the Lakeland Civic Center in Lakeland, Florida. Ace touched a metal railing whilst ungrounded and was sent flying backward. While he finished the show, most feeling in his arm had gone. This song is infamous for being Ace's first time as lead vocalist (allegedly he even laid on his back int he studio whilst performing the vocals!)

Shock Me was written by Paul Daniel "Ace" Frehley, for the label Casablanca Records. Produced by Eddie Kramer.
