Kirby Challenge rules:

And here's the part where the official stage names don't quite make sense!

Fatal Miscalculation (aka Wily 1) turned out to be one of the only stages where I could freely pick whatever leftover weapon I felt like, and of my limited choices, HCR Boomerang just seemed like the most fun. Why? Because everybody here has a shield, of course, and the HCR Boomerang doesn't care about that! It was actually quite fun approaching this stage under the pretense of figuring out what I can do about all these fellas without attacking them, thanks to my fallback option making such quick work of everyone.

That said, a stage all about Sniper Joes (yes, you heard right) was likely never meant to be "quite fun", and the second half of the stage fully embraces that. And it is beautiful every time.
